Looking for a great place to hit up for breakfast or a nice brunch?
I got the place for YOU!
Welcome to Holler & Dash Biscuit House! The southern café is bringing a new freshness to the traditionally beloved Southern favorite.
There are a current total of SIX locations for this fine restaurant which means that Holler & Dash currently exists as a RARITY for the south. Luckily one of the few locations for this diner is right here in the Queen City.
Located on South Blvd as the next door neighbor of both Harris Teeter and the Sedgfield Shopping Center, Holler & Dash positions itself perfectly for individuals who working both in Central Charlotte and to those like myself who work outside the hectic-ness of Uptown.
Walking into the restaurant, there is little to no inclination that Holler & Dash is owned by Cracker Barrel. While the menu and some of the side merchandise is certainly reminiscent of the traditional Cracker Barrel selection, the overall look and essence of the diner is very modern.
Everything from the light fixtures to the tables and chairs and the wall decorations seem to be right out of my décor Pinterest board or some millennial's magazine. Its for this reason that the restaurant is known as "The Cracker Barrel for Millennials".
Let get to the FOOD.
As the name suggests, the menu is heavily centered around biscuits, showcasing a variety of classic ways that the southern favorite can be prepared to court your appetite. Not to mention signature new biscuits including the Hollerback Club, the Pork Rambler, and the "Kickback Chicken".
Food wise, the menu is very similar in pricing to Cracker Barrel though the meals are more portioned for Holler & Dash. For instance, you could get the Country Boy breakfast at Cracker Barrel for around $10 and get a lot of food. However, the "Chicken. Set. Go." (priced at $9.00) from Holler & Dash will be just the extravagant biscuit along with your choice of side.
I went a couple months ago with my good friend Ms. J!

After we got our food and sat down we did what all 'Millennials' do.....and we took pics of our food. Lolol!!
Ms. J go the visually delicious Tot Bowl w/ a Chicken Biscuit and a refreshing Peach Sweet Tea!
Her meal came out to a slightly pricey $13 though its not much more than you might spend at a Cracker Barrel.
Then my bougie ass came through and decided to be....well BOUGIE!! I ordered the "Every Day I'm Brusslin'" Bowl with Grilled Chicken, and Egg Biscuit, side of Fruit and a Hazelnut Latte.....yep Bougie and BASIC! Mama'd be so proud!
"How much was this Bougie Brunch?" you ask with a slight hint of judgement in your thoughts....That's right! I heard YOU!
*Clears throat* HheHhemmm....It was $21...
I know! I know! My bougie-ness got the better of me!
But on the bright side, it was a really healthy breakfast!
It was a big salad with a side of fruit, a healthy dose of protein and a small latte.
And you thought that Ms. J's good was a little pricey. Lol! On the bright side...The extra Honey and Lemons I got for my salad were FREE!
Despite the slight pricey-ness of the food, Ms. J and I loved out food and will be heading that way again soon! If you're looking for a great place to hit up for breakfast....
Take your but down to Holler & Dash Biscuit House!!
They also offer doggie treats and would love it if you tagged them in photos of your feeding your furry friend some delicious biscuits!
